On April 12th 2021 the Covid-19 restrictions were eased to allow all residential construction to re-start as well as early learning and childcare projects. Construction had previously been closed with exceptions including projects relating to the direct supply of medical products for Covid-19, essential health and related projects and essential educational facilities. On May 4th the full reopening of the construction industry will be considered.
