Careers Exploration Evening

After a Covid enforced absence of two years the Drogheda Schools ‘Careers Exploration Evening’ returned. This year it was hosted in Our Lady’s College Greenhills, and as always it was an impressive and well-run event. The event is organised annually by the guidance counsellors of Drogheda’s secondary schools to help Third Year and Transition Year students find out more about different career and college options. Subject choice and entry requirements are also very relevant discussion points.

James, Adrian, Eoin & Megan enjoyed giving advice to the students (and their parents!) about studying and practicing architecture. Megan is a recent architectural graduate so is very familiar with the life of an architectural student and was able to share her knowledge and experience of college life. Megan is also a past pupil of Greenhills so was able reacquaint herself with her alma mater.

Careers

As has been the case in recent years, the architecture career proved to be hugely popular with queues of students patiently waiting to talk to an architect and find out more about the profession.
