ENGINEERS WEEK VISIT TO LOCAL PRIMARY SCHOOL

We were invited into St. Brigid's and St. Patrick's National School for Engineer’s week, where Adrian visited 1st and 4th classes. We spoke about the different engineers that work with architects on the Design Team. 1st class children learned about towers and what helps to make towers stand tall and 4th class learned about the importance of using triangles to help stiffen and stabilise structures. After the talk some excellent towers were built by the students using Lego, timber, blocks, K-Nex and playing cards.

Thank you to Ms. Troy for inviting us back again this year and to class teachers Mr. Rath and Miss Dowd for welcoming Adrian into their classrooms and making it a fun morning.
