On Monday night we presented preliminary designs for the development of club and training facilities at The Drogheda and District AC grounds at Newtownstalaban, Drogheda. The club committee organised an EGM to discuss the proposal with club members, who voted in favour of proceeding to develop the sketch design and to submit a planning application. It was very positive for the club to get the support for the project from members and an important step in the ongoing journey of providing athletic excellence in Drogheda.
