We were up early yesterday morning for a closer look at the condition of the roof, chimneys, coping stones and brickwork at St. John's Home, Drogheda. Settlement, vegetation and neglect over the years have caused significant damage. The cherry picker enabled us to get a better view of these high-level building elements so that we can complete the detail design stage for the refurbishment of these historic buildings.
