Trevor Byrne has recently returned to part-time study in pursuit of a MSc in Fire Safety Engineering at The University of Ulster. Already holding a degree in Architectural Technology from DIT, Trevor also has previous specialised experience in the area of fire safety after working with one of Irelands leading engineering and public event safety management consultancies, Eamon O’Boyle & Associates. Trevor currently processes fire safety certificate applications in the office alongside his colleague Adrian King who also holds fire and safety qualifications (Post Graduate Diploma in Fire Safety Practice, and PSDP accreditation). In continuing to study in the fields of fire dynamics, structural fire engineering, human behaviour in fire and fire modelling Trevor will gain the knowledge and skills to help McKevitt Architects continue to provide outstanding architectural, fire engineering and safety advise to all of our clients into the future. Trevor has been an integral part of the office team since 2005.
