Louth House Photographed

A fine example of the complete remodel and upgrade of a 1980s bungalow. Located on a rural site in mid-Louth surrounded by local history and the family farm. The extent of the project effectively stayed within the confines of the original house structure. With the reimagination of the fenestration design and the injection of new materials the exterior of the house is transformed into a refined contemporary expression. The simple inclusion of hardwood timber fins to the front elevation brings visual interest and enriches the overall palate. Using materials such as zinc and hardwood, and colours such as white and dark grey, the house appears like a complete new build.
