Clogherhead is a unique headland projecting into the Irish sea in Co Louth. The quality of light at this location is something to behold. Even on a dull day there is something special about the light reflecting off the sea. The dwelling itself is a simple, modest, storey and a half house laid out to capture the light with the living spaces and bedrooms looking east across the sea, south along the beach and north to the late medieval ruins of the Mullagh church. Large glass sliding doors at the rear of the dwelling provide level access to the patio making it easy to step outside, experience the changing seascape and marvel at the play of light determined by the Irish weather.
