Kilcloon Community Centre

Although we are experiencing unprecedented times, McKevitt King Architects continue to work on our projects and serve our clients. We are delighted to have obtained planning permission for a proposed Community Centre Project in Kilcloon, Co. Meath. Every year we are involved in numerous successful planning applications and we are thrilled to add this one to the list!

The proposed development will consist of the construction of a single storey community centre incorporating an assembly hall, multipurpose rooms and meeting rooms, all capable of hosting a vast range of community activities, as well as a new entrance area, changing facilities, toilets and car parking.

The development also includes outline permission for the construction of 13 single dwellings and the construction of an internal access road and associated services, as well as the provision of two village squares and green space.

The design intent of the building itself comes from a brief set out by the committee and local community, as well as the desire to create a landmark building on this prominent site facing the church.

We are delighted to have secured planning and look forward to moving the project through to the next steps.
